The file formats your workshop uses

STL, STEP, 3DM, 3MF and G-code for wax milling. For the customer approval page and AR preview, the model is prepared as GLB.

Kumpix export: STL, STEP, 3DM, 3MF and G-code

3DM and Rhino

3DM files open in Rhino 8 as trimmed NURBS polysurfaces; layers, names and colors are kept, and stones are separate polysurfaces with their carat data.

Matrix Gold files

.3dm files saved in Rhino 8 / Matrix Gold open as full solids; Matrix Gold stones (blocks) come in with their positions.

Casting and printing

STL with the selected metal's shrinkage allowance for casting; an orientation suggestion, tree supports and a supported STL for 3D printing; 3MF as well.

Wax milling (CNC)

3-axis raster toolpath, top and bottom machining, G-code output.
